As the suns last rays flicker and burn

A brandy in hand we sit astern

And memories recalled of a long hard day

Of which we enjoyed in every way

A toast is called from me to you

To the sea, the wind and sailors true

And as the ocean drinks in the light

With reds and yellows and orange and white

We recall a course we’ve plotted and tacked

A sail we’ve cut and a rope we’ve hacked

How nights chills start to bite

We are quite happy and all feels right

For as a team we have made our way

And set on a course we are here to stay

Who knows what perils the morrow will bring

We care not for out loud we will sing

Hoora hoora into eve’s dark shadow

With tomorrows light we shall continue to travel.
